About the Item

Large and heavy Japanese light brown patinated bronze footed water basin (suiban) with a mottled golden motif. The bowl with stepped concave rings and a nice thin double ribbed rim. From the side down hang three two-tiered open work pendants in the shape of a fish. They hang in front of an open work waterfall design in the base. Weight: 12,34 lb/5.6 kg. Including original signed and sealed tomobako (storage box). Signed “Studio Heiwa” (Heiwa’dô). When shipped we will add a certificate of authenticity. Price including insured shipping.
