About the Item

A Japanese cloisonné enamel dish with a lobed rim, decorated with the figure of a Ryu dragon rendered in shaded enamels in shades of green, light blue, pink, and yellow, outlined by fine silver wires. The aventurine stone ground gives the composition a sparkling surface. The dish comes with a wall-mounted plate holder. Period: Meiji, late 19th century Dimensions: 32 × 31 × 4.3 cm Condition: Excellent condition.
