About the Item
A Pair of Chinese Export Silver Flower Vases of trumpet form, each with circular base and rising to a flared, shaped top. The vases, which are decorated with applied prunus, were retailed by the famous and influential firm of Wang Hing '宏兴 ‘ around 1890. As the largest firm in China supplying silver to Westerners, Wang Hing worked with many silversmith's, and these vases were made by '啟記‘ Qi Ji.

These impressive antique Chinese Export silver vases have a circular rounded, waisted form.
The surface of each vase is embellished with fine and impressive applied bamboo stalk designs.
Each vase features a protruding crimped, undulating border to the upper rim.
The lower portion of each vase has a plain circular knop to a plain spreading foot.
The hallmarks struck to the base of each impressive antique vase include:
