19th Century Oil Painting “Taste of Freedom” – Unsigned A delightful scene in which a pet Blackbird is let out of their cage and allowed to eat some of their masters food, quite possibly too much, as the master points back upto the cage! The face of the elderly man has been captured with great detail, expression and colour, by the painter, who has also captured the warmth of the lighting in the right tone.
