This exquisite set of five antique Chinese wooden screens is crafted in a beautiful natural wood finish and showcases remarkable traditional artistry. Each tall panel features a finely carved openwork lattice in the famous “eternity and longevity” pattern — a classic Chinese design symbolizing continuity, harmony, and enduring life. The latticework was created using a painstaking traditional joinery technique, where every small wooden element is connected by hand-cut mortise and tenon joints, without nails, demonstrating exceptional craftsmanship. At the center of each panel is a unique carved floral medallion, with all five screens displaying different flowers that together symbolize the changing of the seasons — a poetic celebration of nature, time, and renewal.
