About the Art Form
Chinese ink painting on folding screens, a popular decorative art form, developed primarily during the Qing dynasty (1644-1911) in China. While ink painting itself has a longer history, the combination of ink wash painting with the screen format gained popularity during this period. The style often featured landscape scenes, figures, or bird and flower depictions, showcasing both artistic skill and cultural appreciation.

Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor structural damages. Very good used condition. Some minor signs of wear. Some minor loses. Overall good condition considering age and fragility.
