Antique four-panel Japanese screen featuring a painting of a Camellia tree dating to the Taisho period (1912-1926), executed with delicate brushwork and vibrant colors, characteristic of the artistic style prevalent during that time. Meiji / Taisho Period, c. 1912. Hand painted on silk with ink and color, and gold leaf accents. Versatile size allows screen to be wall mounted or used as a room divider. Dimensions: Height: 66.5 in (168.91 cm) x Width: 98.5 in (250.19 cm) Provenance: Originally sold by Naga Antiques Gallery, New York City; signed with gallery sticker on verso.
