A genre painting of dancing townspeople reminiscent of Miyagawa Choshun and Hishikawa Moronobu.
It is thought to be the work of a Showa-era artist, but the kimonos and other details are well-detailed.
Stains and sun damage can be seen throughout.
There is also some rubbing near the folds.
The mounting itself has been replaced and is in relatively good condition.
