About the Item

Material: Paper on wooden frame One piece: W610×H1710mm×D17mm, Unfolded size: W3690mm Folded size: W625×H1710×D105mm, 13kg Estimate packing size: (sandwiched with 5-10mm plywood): 18cm x 70cm x 179cm, 28kg A masterpiece by a Japanese painter depicting a peacock. Making full use of the white space, the plum blossoms and peacock are boldly depicted. Unfortunately, there are vertical and horizontal sun damage marks. The artist is "Nagata Shunsui.永田春水" The seal reads "永田氏印" and "春水良" There is some damage to the metal fittings on the side. Several repairs have been made to the back. *Please be careful when handling folding screens as the joints are prone to weakening.
