Painted by Takakura Kangai.
He was an artist who studied under Takeuchi Seihō.
Although it is a Japanese painting painted on a classic gold screen, it is a highly innovative work with its bold use of Mount Fuji, clouds, and ultramarine blue.
Unfortunately, there are some stains and the ultramarine blue appears to have faded slightly.
There are holes and other repairs on the back.

It is a special technique in which the folding screens are connected with paper instead of hinges.
