An unusual table screen featuring a reverse glass painted portrait of a young noble lady set into a hardwood frame and stand.
The beautiful maiden has a round face with a high forehead and almond shaped eyes. She is portrayed wearing an informal robe, a rose in her hair, and holding a fan in her delicate hands.
The frame and stand are carved from hongmu (blackwood).
