A serene scene featuring bold, vibrant colors and a dynamic composition.
Pichwai (pichvai) is a Folk Art style of painting that originated in the town of Nathdwara near Udaipur in Rajasthan, India over 400 years ago. Intricate and visually stunning, Pichwai paintings, most commonly made on cloth/canvas, depict various tales from Lord Krishna's life. Creating a Pichwai painting requires immense and practiced skill and can take several months. The smallest details need to be painted with absolute precision. Artists spend years developing their Craft.
This special, original one-of-a-kind, work would be a great addition to any Asian or Indian art/artifacts collection or very eye-catching stand-alone work in about any setting.
