Six-panel screen painted with pigments on golden rice paper of good size and well preserved.

The flowers are made with the technique "gofun", natural or pigmented white oyster powder.
Rinpa is one of the main historical schools of Japanese painting. The style was consolidated by the brothers Ogata Korin (1658–1716) and Ogata Kenzan (1663–1743).
