A Japanese two-panel folding screen with floral decoration depicting blooming peonies, sparrows and rocks against a light ground. The panels are framed by two splendid silk brocade borders, while a lacquered wooden frame completes and protects the screen. Signed at lower right.
Period: Meiji, early 20th century.
Dimensions: 173 x 209 cm.
Condition: The screen is in excellent condition. Minor wear, restorations or small imperfections may be present, consistent with the age.
