About the Item

This petite 19th century tray reflects the Qing-dynasty literati's taste for fine materials and balanced proportions. Once used to serve tea or hold scholarly implements, the tray is beautifully carved of a fine-grained hardwood and decorated with beaded geometric scrollwork. We love this little tray as the perfect place to rest jewelry, glasses, or other small objects.
