About the Item

A very fine 11th–13th century Cambodian bronze Uma statue, remarkable for its refined sculpting, serene expression, and strong spiritual presence. This solid-cast figure stands out for its exceptional completeness and preservation, retaining its beautiful original patina. Larger than most examples of its type, it measures 9.25 inches in height (nearly a foot, including the base) and weighs 1.95 pounds, with a 1.75-inch custom base weighing 170 grams. Figures of this quality and size from early Cambodia are exceptionally rare, as most surviving pieces are smaller and more fragmentary. The harmonious proportions, elegant detailing, and soft radiance of the surface attest to both masterful artistry and devotional significance. A distinguished, authentic piece—special, uncommon, and worthy of serious collectors and connoisseurs alike.
