About the Item
Powerful and rare Bodhisattva, possibly Kashmir or another nearby kingdom. It has a significant amount of inlay, much of which remains (see photos). It is a solid cast in a style consistent with early dating. It looks to have a very age based on the extensive wear and the beautiful dark patina, but I have gotten feedback that this is maybe a 19/20thC emulation, so I have the price to a fraction of my original asking price.
In 40 years I've never had another piece remotely like this one.
