This is a rare, beautiful, and very unusual 18 inch tall Buddha limestone sculpture, 19th century. We acquired it for our private collection during one of many buying trips in northeast China some 15 years ago. It was originally carved in China's distant northeast- bordering Liaoning provionce and South Korea. Our Buddha was hand-carved and is virtually impossible to find today. It's very distinct carving style dates it to one hundred or so years ago and coming from the Sino/Korean border. Dimensions: 18 inches high and 12 inches wide It would look perfect in a garden or indoors- a special work of art for the discerning garden, gardener or collector. Its irreplaceable. Hand carved.
