About the Item

A striking pair of very decorative and serene Carved Wood Kneeling Supplicants in bold red paint flecked with gold and having applied colored mirror pieces in Artistic detailing. The pair are Southeast Asian and likely originated in Thailand or Burma. The pair are in Prayerful attitude with clasped Palms and bear expressions of eternal Calm. Colorful, detailed and utterly Decorative. Mounted on Square Bases in an intriguing dark coloration shot through with red. Each supplicant measures 16” wide by 17” deep by 56.5” high. Condition: The overall condition of the pair is very good with a few losses to the colored glass Accents which do not diminish the dramatic and colorful display. Please see all detail photos.
