About the Item

A quite fantastic, rather unique, and unusual bronze Buddha Deiety hand sculpture ( making the mudra hand gesture) that also serves as an incense censer. We believe it is likely Japanese or Chinese. The sculpture is signed/marked on the base (similar to an Apocryphal Xuande mark). We are listing it as early to mid-1900s but it could be older. A unique and special piece (we can not find another quite like it). It has a very nice feel, size, and heft to it. Would be a wonderful addition to any Buddha or Southeast Asian artifacts collection or make for an eye-catching stand-alone accent piece in about any setting. Dimensions: 5" High, 8" Wide, 4.5" Deep
