Big, old and unusual spiritual “Zenigata” Stone Temple Tsukubai Water Or Plant basin

Japan, a handsome old larger scale 27.5 inch diameter round granite stone water basin tsukubai or planter in the form of Japanese coin with a spiritual message : "To be satisfied with what you have" in hand carved kanji inscribed on its top.
It was sourced from a decades old Japanese garden,
Patina from appropriate old age.
The Ryōan-ji Chōzubachi also known as the Chisoku Chōzubachi (知足手水鉢), is an example of a Zenigata or coin shaped water basin. The name comes from the a temple in northern Kyoto from where the type originated, the Ryōan-ji Temple. The four characters on each side of the Chōzubachi form a new character together with the square basin in the middle which represents a Kanji meaning mouth or opening (口).
All the combinations are as follows:
• 1. 吾 (ware) meaning: I
• 2. 唯 (tada) meaning: only
• 3. 足 (taru) meaning: plenty
• 4. 知 (shiru) meaning: to know
These characters form a sentence together which roughly translates to: I am content with what I am.
