Brilliant original hand painted colors. Here's a rare find from a collector in Kyoto. A very unusual treasure from Japan. This is a finely crafted pair (2) of bronze koi one in a realistic striped brown, gold, and silver color andthe slightly sma;ller one hand painted in light golden orange and silver color. This pair was sourced from a large Japanese collection this past year, Photographed inside and out of doors for your viewing pleasure. Dimensions: Largest fish: Big and heavy- 10.5 inches length and 3.5 inches high Smaller fish: 8.5 inches length and 3 inches high Quality: Finely handcrafted in bronze with beautiful detailed scales, head, and fins Fine old natural patina. Only one available History of Koi fish: Many of the attributes of the Koi symbolize prosperity and success including several lessons individuals often encounter in life. The Koi fish has a powerful and energetic life force, demonstrated by its ability to swim against currents and even travel upstream.
