About the Item

This joyful elephant was carved from ebonised padauk wood in Ceylon in the 1950s. Please take a look at all the pictures to see the detail of this large decorative piece, such lovely expression and detail. A great addition to any room in the home, or a statement piece for a hotel reception, or bar. Height of 68cm is to the tip of her/his trunk, the height of his/her body is 48cm No ivory!
