A vintage oversized Thai bronze sculpture cast bronze of Buddha right hand sculpture in Dharmchakra Mudra, This mudra, or sign, means a discussion or transmission of Buddha's teachings representing "the gesture of debate" and explaining the Buddha's teachings.
Buddhist iconography gives each gesture a symbolic value, this hand evokes one of the ritual gestures most frequently represented, the hand in Dharmchakra Mudra.
The Fine, long and sharp fingers affirm all the beauty and elegance of Buddhist art.
Handcrafted in Thailand in good vintage condition with age appropriate patina.
