A magnificent pair of bronze Singha Temple Lions, a Thai mythical creature in the form of a lion that has been a big part of Thai history guarding the entrances to the many Buddhist Temples. It is common to see a pair of theses mythical lions guarding the gate of a Thai Buddhist temple. The Singha lions are a symbol of Power, Strength, Courage, Leadership, and Endurance. They are often in the style resembling those found in Angkor Wat Buddhist temple in Cambodia. In good condition you can see in the photo's a dark patch on one of the lions where the finish is missing, most likely from tape on for a long period of time. Overall they are a good pair and a great size.
