The Muette model is a monumental stele carved from natural sandstone, part of a collection inspired by ancient funerary monuments of the Kingdom of Sheba (modern Yemen). This vertical sculptural piece conveys human form in its most distilled, symbolic expression. The Muette features a frontal visage with a straight, prominent nose, almond‑shaped eyes, and a deliberately absent or suggestive mouth — a sculptural silence that lends the piece its name and evokes contemplative mystery.
Hand‑worked by skilled artisans, the stone bears a raw, mineral texture and is finished with a carefully applied patina. Subtle traces of wear and erosion are intentionally reproduced to evoke archaeological authenticity.
