This nice Japanese Haniwa-style horse sculpture is a replica or modern interpretation of Haniwa, ancient Japanese terracotta figures placed on tomb mounds during the Kofun period.
Finished with paint made to look like verdigris.
Sculpture is in good condition with only minimal signs of age. See images for details.
