A magnificent Kumiko wall hanging made up of several different Kumiko designs
Kumiko designs seem to be evolving even in modern times
The Kumiko technique is assembled by craftsmen by hand without using glue
The color also makes use of the natural wood
The colored ones are called "Jindai" and some parts are made of very old wood that seems to have been buried for a long time
This gives the whole piece a unique look
Originally used in architecture and installed above doors
This piece is designed for modern times and is wall hanging
The back appears to be pasted with paper
There are no visible defects at first glance, but please understand that small parts may have been overlooked
