About the Item
In this listing you will find a pair of exuisite Antique Foo Dogs hand-carved in dark green jade. Known as Shishi or Pinyin, these are Chinese Imperial guardian lions and often incorrectly call Foo Dogs in the West. Each is carved in the seated position. Made in China, cca. end of the 19th Century.
The sculptures are in over all good antique condition. There are small chips and dents here and there, including one missing foot on one of the lions.
When purchased the figurines will be carefully wrapped up and packed in a way to avoid any damages in transport. As soon as shipped you will receive the tracking number for your package. If you have any additional questions regarding this piece please feel free to contact me.
