About the Item
Elio Schiavon (1925–2004) was an influential Italian ceramic artist whose work is a key part of the post-war Italian modern design movement. Working primarily in Padua, he was known for his distinctive geometric forms, textured glazes, and metallic accents. These ceramic works were created by Schiavon himself and reflect the refined craftsmanship and artistic vision that made him one of the most respected figures in 20th-century Italian decorative arts. Today, his original works are highly collectible and represented in important international design collections.
