Impressive antique Indian warrior, from Gujarat. ( N. 811.)
Gujarat o Gujrat, antique town in Indian (now Pakistan) region of Punjab. It was an important strategic node and was under Mogul domain for 3 centuries. In 1765 conquered by Sikh; in 1849 by English: colonization began: many men were sent from Punjab to the First Great War ,people deprived of dignity, exploited and impoverished. (from Google).
