About the Item
This is a rare 18th-century Swedish textile that has been mounted and framed on a backing and measures 103x 48CM in size. This unique European textile has two lion motifs enclosed within a Halo design created by hey Bush design. The field of this textile is decorated with many different blossoming floral motifs set on a black background color. Swedish textiles are extremely rare and hard to find especially in a perfect condition such as this example.
