Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Now THIS is a wonderful “window” of opportunity!!! WOW!!! This is an absolutely GORGEOUS vintage handmade textile wall art composed of metallic embroidered stylized floral details in a beautiful, beaded thread technique on a lovely beige linen panel in the manner of Turkish ottoman. The panel sits within a blue silk covered wood frame, and a blue silk covered cardboard matte with “windowpane” dividers or mullions bearing eye-catching brass corner details
decorative top rings atop a charming crown piece in the center. This beauty has us a bit stumped… we were told by the previous owner that its technique was Forbidden Stitch however, our research does not substantiate that. The closest identification we have decided is that of antique ottoman embroidery which is of the Turkish origin. And we aren’t sure whether the panel is one whole piece or if it is 4 individual pieces as we didn’t want to risk taking it out of the frame. Either way, it is EXQUISITE!! And it is going to be fabulous featured on a wall along a stairway, in an entry, in the master bedroom above your bed, in your living or family room, or mounted on a wall in your dining area. You simply can’t beat a beautiful piece of art… and folks… just BEHOLD THIS BEAUTY. You know you must have it. So, seize this opportunity, and make it YOURS!!!
