About the Item
Antique pair of figural bronze andirons of a Man and Woman from Paris France. This is an impressive pair of andirons with dolphin fish as the base holding a urn with three winged griffons, birds maybe Phoenix. On top of the urn stands a man and woman he's holding the bird with his foot and shes petting a bird. Looks like he was holding a rod or spear in his right hand which is missing. There in very good condition one has a hole in the base shown in the photos.
