About the Item

Donald Deskey andirons, brass, signed Bennett. Newly refinished by Empire Metal of Astoria, NY. Completely disassembled and built back better. Brass elements were refinished in "Butler Brass" (unlacquered). The steel elements were refinished in Empire's custom faux black finish (matte black powder coat with hand rubbed patina and wax). The connecting pins were reinforced to stabilize the shanks (legs). Both are signed Bennett with raised manufacturer's marks.
