Petit, very decorative English gilt cabinet on stand, with an Italian 17th century poker-work interior featuring an intricate system of drawers, including numerous hidden ones. Reconfigured in the 19th century. The perfect jewelry cabinet. The interior of the cabinet is indeed very intricate. Apart from the obvious drawers surrounding the middle compartment which can be taken out as a complete "box", there are several small drawers behind it, only accessible when the "box" is taken out, and the box itself has additional tiny drawers inset into it's back side.
