Pair of large Louis XVI style andirons, France, second half of the 19th century.
Bronze shafts in the form of trumpeting putti, topped with pine cones, with central medallions and ornamental decoration of fine quality. Partially patinated with original fire gilding. Dimensions: 41 × 40 × 17 cm. In beautifully preserved overall condition.
