Superb Louis XV fireplace from France.
This elegant 18th century is delicately and subtle decorated throughout.
The thin jambs support the impressive overhanging and beautifully decorated frieze.
Its warm brown limestone is from the area of Beaujolais, the soft gloss shows the amazing structures.
Original condition, lovely patina, some chips and marks.
