Listed is a stunning, solid-brass Virginia Metalcrafters pineapple door knocker, circa 1960s. Heavily polished and appears to have never been used. Marked on backside with Virginia Metalcrafters signature 'VMC' stamp and the pieces name and item number 'Newport #4022'. Heavy, weighing nearly 2lbs (1.11lbs exact). Two mounting holes on the backside of the wall plate. “Since 1890, the Virginia Metalcrafters hallmark has become synonymous with fine craftsmanship and design.
