About the Item
19th C French architectural panel featuring intricate carving of fruit swags, a crowned face, and gold-painted highlights. This panel was most likely used to cap a doorway. In good antique condition, with some finish loss and one chip to the crown (see images). Outfitted with “D” hooks on the back for easy and secure hanging.
