About the Item
Ancient granary "horreo," a structure made of hard granite stone, served the Roman city to keep grain safe, in fact it has capitals over the feet that had to be buried, to keep out mice and moisture. The roof and walls were wooden, as was the front door (measuring w 82 x h 122 cm). It has stones that had to be buried to support it and is complete with windows with minimal gap on the supporting columns. Amazing historical, museum-quality, unique and original artifact from area of Galicia in Spain, accompanied by historical documents, maximum mounted measurement of w 700 x h 235 x d 210 cm.
