About the Item

Carved wooden Gothic spire, likely an architectural fragment from an ecclesiastical context. Rising from a square base, the structure tapers vertically into a slender spire, emphasizing height and ascension. The central section is articulated with open lancet windows framed by pointed arches, recalling miniature cathedral architecture. Delicate applied details, including crockets and ornamental bosses, accent the upper spire. The surface retains a richly patinated, weathered wood finish, with visible grain, tonal variation, and wear consistent with age and historical use. Both sculptural and architectural in presence, the piece reflects Gothic and Gothic Revival traditions, transforming devotional architectural language into a standalone object.
