About the Item

Elegant and rare Art Deco bathtub dating from the circa 1930s, featuring a strong architectural presence and beautifully sculpted proportions. This bathtub is crafted in glazed porcelain, showcasing clean geometric lines and softly rounded edges characteristic of the Art Deco period. The design is both monumental and minimalist, making it an ideal statement piece for a luxury bathroom, boutique hotel, spa project, or high-end residential interior. Its substantial volume and crisp molding reflect the quality and durability of early 20th-century sanitary ware, originally produced for prestigious private residences or public buildings. The bathtub retains its original overflow and plumbing fittings, adding to its authenticity and decorative appeal. The white glaze has a soft, luminous patina consistent with age, while remaining in very good vintage condition. A rare and sculptural example of functional Art Deco design, increasingly difficult to find in this scale and condition.
