About the Item

19th-century French provincial interior door with carved upper panel and grooved beveled trim detailing. Install in a new home to enclose a pantry or linen cupboard to instantly add a layer of charm and character that can’t be replicated with modern mass-produced doors. Salvaged in France. The front of the door features the original worn white paint. The back of the door may have originally had a fabric or some type of covering, which has been removed, but has left the surface rough and unfinished. 3 half barrel hinges, a metal lock box and decorative handle, and a metal backplate are present. Minor wood separation present, with overall condition consistent with age and use. Approximately 30.5" W x 88.625" H x 1.25" D.
