About the Item
This antique Georgian style wrought iron garden gate dates back to the 19th century. Crafted circa 1850, this tall garden gate with scrolling designs is presented in good condition and ready to hang.
The body of the gate is mirrored vertically and horizontally, creating a reflective, repeating pattern. The central column resembles a series of arrows leading to a skyward pinnacle. The lavish symmetry of this gate would lend itself to a parterre style garden, with its repeating sectional design and delicate twisted tails.
