About the Item

Early 20th Century antique beveled glass door with a textured diamond pattern. This antique beveled glass door, a style often found in homes from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, such as Victorian or Edwardian properties. Most often the glass panels are held together by lead but this door has zinc cames a traditional method used for strength in entrance ways. This is a nice antique beveled and textured glass door salvaged from Richmond Virginia estate. The door features both beveled glass pieces that catch the light, and textured or frosted glass for privacy. The door frame is made of wood and does have checking and may need to be repaired, fine for interior use shown in the photos. The glass panel is sturdy and in very good condition, we also have a matching pair of sidelights on our 1stDibs site.
