About the Item
Beautiful antique bistro door in dark wood, featuring a large acid-etched glass panel depicting a putto / cherub in a lush floral setting.
An authentic and highly decorative piece, typical of Parisian cafés and brasseries from the Belle Époque and the 1920s.
It was usually used as a dividing door between two rooms — bar / dining area, private lounge, smoking room, etc.
The etched glass is particularly refined, with very delicate detailing, and the door shows a warm, aged patina.
Slight chip in the upper right corner, barely noticeable.
