About the Item

French 18th c Door Knocker with Original Cast Iron Knocker and Wrought Iron Back. This hand-wrought iron door knocker with a pierced scrolling back plate in Fleur-de-lis, floral and c-scroll patterns with hand etched decoration. The back plate is original to the door knocker. Both Knocker and back plate have beautiful original patina. The nut is not original.
