Crafted in silver-plated bronze, this sculptural architectural element features a finely modeled cornucopia overflowing with fruit, a classical symbol of abundance and prosperity, rendered with strong geometric elegance characteristic of early Art Deco design.
The knocker is stamped with the renowned CAMION Frères maker’s mark, depicting a sea anchor flanked by the initials “C” and “F”, confirming its authenticity and French origin.

CAMION Frères was a prominent French foundry and design firm based in Vivier-au-Court, in the Ardennes region of France, an area internationally renowned for its bronze casting tradition. Active primarily in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, CAMION Frères specialized in high-quality decorative bronze objects, architectural hardware, lighting, and ornamental sculpture.
The firm became especially well known during the Art Deco period, producing refined yet bold designs that combined classical motifs with modern geometric forms. Their works are distinguished by exceptional craftsmanship, rich materials, and a recognizable maker’s mark featuring an anchor with the initials C and F.
