About the Item
An antique handcrafted metal gate from France, executed in the classic 19th-century style and retaining its original weathered patina. The lower section is composed of beveled field panels, while the upper portion is richly adorned with ornate scrollwork and a scalloped crest; hallmarks of skilled French blacksmithing. The gate is accompanied by a separate arched overthrow, crowned with large, expressive scrolls that enhance its architectural presence.
